Abstragedy

A little fic since the polls decided. Fluff for everyone's favorite TADC lesbians! Hope you like it! Comment below other ships or ideas you'd like to see done next!

Gangle was sitting on the couch in one of the less traversed parts of the circus. Her plan was simply to just draw till Caine had another adventure ready. But like every problem, I mean thing, in her life it didn't go that way.

"There you are." An all too familiar voice said and Gangle clutched her sketch book close as she looked up. There in all their glory was Zooble!

"Oh, hey Zooble!" Gangle said quickly shutting her sketchbook. "What brings y-you over here?" Zooble looks at her curious and sits down on the cushion next to her.

"Its," They sigh and look at Gangle with an unreadable look. "You got a minute?" They ask in a way that makes Gangle's stomach do flips and turns.

"Uhhh, yeah!" She says to quickly and winces. "I mean yeah. What's up?" She asks and puts a ribbon over Zoobles claw. Zooble stares at Gangle's and their touching hands for a second before sighing.

"I think I've got a crush on someone and I want your help." They admit softly and Gangle's heart breaks. Its by sheer will that her mask doesn't break and show how she truly feels.

"oh." she squeaks out and forces out a smile. "That's good! Who is it? If its Ragatha I think she likes horses." She rambles and would have continued but Zoobles claw gently squeezed her ribbon.

"A, actually it's." They gulp and look at Gangle. "It's you. I really like you Gangle." They say in one breath, closing their eyes as they do. Gangle feels time freezes. Zooble like her? Zooble, the coolest member, the one who always has a snide comment and sticks up for her.

"I, oh." Gangle squeaks out and Zooble looks at her. "I want to be with you. I want to watch you draw and show you my tattoo art. I want to hide in my room with you and go on stupid adventures as long as it means I can be with you." Zooble rambles, holding Gangle's ribbon with both hands. "And I get it if you don't feel the same way but I just wanted to tell you!"

Gangle looks at Zooble for a second then giggles. "I really like you too." Gangle admits. "And I'd love to do that with you." She says and Zooble lights up. Like its the best thing they heard.

"Can, can." Zooble stutters leaning closer. Gangle can feel the 'breath' on her mask. "Can I kiss you?" They ask softly and Gangle nods as much as she can.

"Yes," she breaths and closes her eyes. Zooble leans closer and then pauses.

"BEEP. BEEP. BEEP!" they says and Gangle jolts up. She looks around her room with wild eyes before it rashes on her. A dream, she dreamed that up?!

"Oh (bing bang no cussing lol) my life!" She mutters tossing her pillow and burying her mask into her ribbons. "A dream, of course it was."

Tadc is an interesting case to me because it is not every day when I watch a media that I like all the characters, flaws, and everything, and I can understand why Jax is so beloved in the fandom.

But the way people downplay his actions is worrying sometimes because I don't know if they are being sarcastic, or it's what they really feel and think about him.

I see on fanarts and posts about how he is a misunderstood, poor little guy that actually helps the people in the circus through his bullying (they don't use this word, but it's what he does), teasing, and pranks so they won't go insane and abstract?????????? What??????

Dude... if it were an ooc fanfic or an AU, I wouldn't complain or care, but it wasn't.

I blocked a few people that wrote that Gangle was the actual abuser ???????????????????????????? In her relationship with Jax because she doesn't fight back ??????????????????????????????? I-I can't, man; this one gave me a headache. It's insanity.

There is no problem loving Jax and still understanding he's a piece of doodoo, trauma or not.
