South Park yapping

something i really like about south park is how the characters are written. Like, obviously they don’t act exactly like real life eight year olds but they act mostly spot on to like what I remember kids being like in fourth/fifth grade. Although they’re obviously a lot more witty and actually funny than real 9 year olds lol. But I also like that they somehow manage to accurately and seamlessly portray the fact that they are all still KIDS despite everything. Like the superhero games they play and little things like Cartman in that one episode not knowing what “fingerbang” means (thinking it’s finger guns) or even the whole Kenny Dies episode where they all actually do show genuine emotion over the news of his terminal illness, EVEN CARTMAN! And I know that he had ulterior motives with the whole stem cells thing but HE DIS NOT KNOW HOW THAT WORMED WHEN HE FOUND OUT KENNY WAS SICK, SO HIS REACTION OF SHOCK WAS TO NEWS OF KENNY’S SICKNESS, THERE REALLY WASNT ANYTHING WLSE TO IT IMO

or stans childish logic of being upset with Kenny for dying and just. Oh my gos I’m genuinely getting emotional writing this that episode broke me. anyways o could go on about this show but I have to get ready for swim practice so yeah lol I just love the aouth park kids

basil from omori is low-key kinda based and real bc. like, if i had a best friend (who i low-key had kinda a crush on. honestly) who accidently committed manslaughter and killed his sister (which i offered to help him cover up) and he went silent and left me in the guilt and weight of the accident for four years straight and yet i still vouched for him (saying i wreaked a photo album which i didnt and getting the blunt from my friend aubrey who ends up tormenting me) only for him to come out of his house and be like “yea, im moving in three days,” id be on the news /lh /ref
