As a Dib x Gretchen shipper and a sucker for angst, I've had this in my mind for a while:

Poor Gretchen finally telling Dib she likes him, and how she thinks he's cool.

All Dib has to say is one word with a confused facial expression: "Why?"

Sometimes I'll "Salt and Pepper Diner" myself because I put songs back to back in my queue sometimes moat notely with Revenge party from Mean Girls Musical or Story of Tonight and honestly I forget how each section is put and I'll just think "wow this song is longer than I thought" then "Is it playing again?"

She pecks Gretchen on the cheek so quickly it barely constitutes as a step below a headbutt.

Gretchen sputters and waves her arms widely in confusion, obviously not used to affection. Especially anything beyond an occasional touch.

Gretchen: Man, just goes to show that it could happen to any of us, right? You always think you're a good Christian girl who'd never dream of getting into that sort of situation but I GUESS LIFE IS FULL OF LITTLE TWISTS AND TURNS RIGHT?

Thinking about how inhumane and a hollow shell of a human Gretchen has become due to magic and eldritch teachings makes me sad
