Who really took care of Kaiser when he was a child? (Part 2)
Hiiii guys!! This is part 2 of the analysis on the theory of who cared for baby Kaiser. I confess that I had a bee in my bonnet about this, lol🥲 so, I've rambled on quite a bit.
This has 410 words
Well, a month ago, I wrote a post here on my blog about the following topic: who took care of Kaiser when he was a baby?
And from what I've been following, some information about Michael Kaiser's parents and past has been revealed recently. They are here:
This answered some questions, while leaving several unanswered (for me). And one of them was the one I answered in part 1 of this post. If you haven't read it, you can click here if you want to read it.
The information states that Alice and Frederick divorced when Kaiser was 8 years old. However, in the manga, it is stated that Alice left shortly after Kaiser was born. At first glance, the information seems contradictory. However, I analyzed it and concluded:
Alice may have left shortly after Kaiser was born and only divorced years later. (Yeah, clearly.) For example, in some places it's common for couples to live separately (without being divorced) and only divorce later. This may be the case for them.
But, there's a small problem. We are also told that Frederick suffered a mental shock due to the divorce and, probably because of this, became very violent. So, if the violence and abuse began after Kaiser turned 8 years old, that makes me have another question:
Does Kaiser have any memories of the time before his father broke down because of the divorce? Because if Frederick took care of him after Alice left them and became violent after he turned 8, he probably must have memories of that short period.
But something contradicts that again. Take a look at this panel from chapter 261:
Kaiser says he was never called by his name by his father. He may be referring to the period of abuse, but the word "never" is quite broad, which makes me see this as a refutation of my theory about that period before Kaiser was 8 years old.
Because of this, I concluded that Frederick was probably already mentally unstable after Alice left. Theoretically, what happened was that after the divorce, he had a breakdown and became even worse than he already was.
In other words, Frederick, before the divorce, was an emotionally absent father, but at least he provided for a child's basic needs (since he abandoned the theater and became a manual laborer, which confirms that he wasn't doing well after Alice left). And after the divorce, he became an abusive and violent father.
Omg, this question almost blew my mind. With each new piece of information, my brain created more and more questions! I'm starting to think the problem is me, lmao😂
Okay, but what do you think abt this question? Do you agree or do you think differently?
Guarding the Guardian
"Really Gregory… no mere mortal child should get involved in the affairs of demons and angels… though I guess it's too late for you…"
Cassie tells Gregory her suspicions about her dad going after the cult and Gregory gets really worried, especially when Mike goes missing. Vanessa contacts the demon police force about the issue, but since Cassie's dad returns unharmed, meaning there's no mortals in direct danger, they can't do anything because it's determined to be an issue between demons and angels.
Gregory then decides to take matters into his own hands and goes to try and rescue Mike himself, Freddy and Charlie coming with him, refusing to let him go alone even though they're against the idea. Freddy distracted the cult members while Gregory and Charlie went to rescue Mike. Charlie tried to hold William off while Gregory worked on breaking the binding circle. William was too powerful for Charlie and he was able to knock her out before going to confront Gregory.
C'Mon Baby, Chapter 12: Candy Land
You'd think this could possibly be a realm of ultimate temptation for Michael. And maybe it starts out that way. But it's soon less about his own thoughts and feelings, and maybe-not-so-hidden desires, and more about David, and David's elaborate games.
Not that David doesn't love Michael. He very much does.
But he is still David.
And there are layers and layers to all of that.
this isn't an ask so much as an "omg someone else sees the musical chronic-bag-fumbler david/star vision" because 2/3s of that polycule have SAUCE and they're gonna put it on michael's dinner. so, u know. thank u for that.
the way this is phrased is making me laaaaaugh great way to word whatever they have going on 😭😭 yw anon the things ali and maria are doing up on that stage have absolutely enchanted me and i doubt i'll be moving on from it anytime soon
but is it really fumbling if the bag is sprinting 100 mph in the opposite direction? there's only so much a humble vampire can do
Random little thing I started a few months ago, forgot about, and just finished 👍
