animal therapy after underworld
Hermes, deity of “catch these mf hands”
I absolutely cannot deal with the way Calypso’s “/stay in my open arms-” triggered memories of Polites and his song. I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT DEAL
me thinks Poseidon is the kind of guy who doesn't know how to talk to his crush so he'd opt for plan B:
Turning Odysseus into a female horse and transplanting him into the nearest grasslands, thereby preventing him from communicating with anyone he knows or otherwise reaching out to others for help, where Odysseus would have no choice but to join up with a local herd of wild horses for protection from predators, including the various monsters Poseidon would send to torment Odysseus so he would have to join a herd, whereby Odysseus would have to live as a mare for a good few weeks among the other mares in his herd and their young while trying to stave off the advances of the herd's only adult male, at which point Poseidon can transform himself into a beautiful strong handsome stallion, fight the herd's male for dominance to show off his strength, beat said male, and then get all the rights as the herd's new stallion to court Odysseus via sniffing, nuzzling, nickering, prancing, showing off his muscular body and shiny coat, and sleeping in close proximity, all while waiting for Odysseus' body to go into heat.
So really, it's the perfect plan.
Back at it again

I have fuller designs for Eurylochus and Polites i will show some other time :D
Another rant.
Listening to the musical and Zeus really wasn't lying when he said that the infant is "blood you won't lose." It's obvious (In the Underworld Saga specifically) that Odysseus is HAUNTED by this infant and its depressing.
Also, it shows how desperate he really is to go home for those of you who either don't know nor care but decided to read-. Odysseus throughout this entire story, musical whatever WANTS TO GET HOME.
In almost every song he mentions his wife and son (mainly wife) and how he wants to get home to them.
In "The Underworld." He states that he remembers the infant. Of course, he's haunted by his actions of dropping a literal child off of a wall.
However, in "Monster." He states that he would do it AGAIN, If it means to get home and it's pretty sad knowing that he's realizing how everything is slowly getting out of his grasp and the ONE thing keeping him sane.
Is his wife and son, depressing as stated before get this man a therapist.
