octopus’s garden perfectly captures the energy of a nine year old boy drawing a picture of him and a bunch of underwater friends while holding back tears because mummy and daddy won’t stop screaming and throwing shoes at each other the next room over
Paul is so competitive and desperate for attention, oh my god

Did you guys know a couple of those Beatles guys were gay? My feed is telling me it's true. And the internet can't lie to you.
The Beatles were not even able to go to Brian’s funeral for fear of turning it into a media-and-fan circus. Ringo was so gutted the night before that he asked me to come with him and the others to a seance to try to contact Brian. But I didn’t want to do that. If my Eppy had come through, any words I could have spoken would have been inadequate, and it would only have made the loss of him worse. I’d always felt so touched that Brian, who always appeared uneasy in the company of young women, was so relaxed and happy with me.
In the end the Maharishi told Ringo not to hold on to Brian - to love him but let him go, because we were all powerful forces who could halt him on his natural progression to heaven.
‘You have to grieve for him and love him,’ the guru said, ‘but you also have to send him on his way.’
