hi! when you get this, list 5 songs you like to listen to, publish. then, send this ask to the last 10 people in your notifs (positivity is cool!!)
(if you wanna play! no worries if not! from h-l-w)
i was also tagged by @gettinghardtobesomeone and @hootiepgh so i'll paste it here
it's so hard to choose just five songs...
call me woke but i think it’s disgusting how normalised the term ‘cracking’ has become
The Beatles at Circus-Krone-Bau, Munich (1966) Photographer: Rainer Schwanke
you know what i’ll also add that She Loves You is actually about two closeted queer men in a secret relationship. where only one of them has a girlfriend/wife who he parades around with. and he doesn't really love her, but he tells him to stay with her, to keep up appearances... and the other cannot love another, even if it's just pretend. so he stays in the closet because he loves the other one, even if they can't truly be together. And the eventually he marries her because of the pressures of society and this drives the two men apart because that’s it, their love is over

how many posts have you all made ever...?
did the math and i've posted over 70 times in the last week....forcing myself to stop maybe it's not a good habit
you're not supposed to think that things won't work out, because that puts bad energy into the universe.
but you're also not supposed to think too positively, because then you'll get your hopes up and the disappointment is worse,
so!!what do i do
And does [Paul McCartney] think of John and George Harrison much?
“Yes, pretty much every night on the show because I do tributes to them. I have big photographs of George behind me when I do the song 'Something', his song, and I look at them, and it's so sad because he's not here.
But it's lovely to look at those pictures and think: 'God, my mate George, isn't he a good-looking boy!' You think all the things you couldn't think when you were a kid, because the bravado aspect forbade it. I do think of them quite a lot.”
Paul McCartney talks (unusually for him) the real John Lennon (2012)
"My little mate!"
