Just some ITTHIGSS Melvin head canons cuz he baby :3 :
He's created a hyper realistic virtual simulation that's basically like the matrix but you don't die in real, which is help because Krupptoon absolutely DESTROYS him in it
When he found out Ted murdsly's intentions with the ejector seat, it was too late. And heart-broken Melvin locked himself in the basement for 4 months, devastated that he was responsible for Benjamin's death.
He's a huge Captoon fan, he'd keep a Captoon plush on his desk to remind him that he could do anything if he put his mind to it. But he doesn't admit it.
Sometimes when someone's in a situation, Melvin will suggest a bizzare solution that makes no sense, this happens when you hang out with a man who defies the laws of physics and nature too much.
Speaking of Krupptoon, Melvin had to stop him from doing strange things no human could do multiple times. That included stretching, having exclamation marks (and/or other stuff) appear from his body, and unhinging his jaw so he could eat all the food on the table in one go.
Melvin enjoys Krupptoon's company, since he's one of the only people who will hang out with him, and the cartoon felt like a father figure to him (sort of). When Melvin first went in the toon world, he was amazed at the possibilities and wonders, it was so different, yet the same. He would usual experiment on toonide, and have lots of fun doing it. Because Krupptoon has opened Melvin's eyes and he saw there was still so much to explore, Krupptoon inspired him, and Melvin loves him (platonicly, mind you) for that. He just doesn't admit it.
He feels like the only sane person due to the fact Krupptoon slaughtered hundreds of criminals, and everyones just cool with. Then again, he admits that he might not be sane either, since he too, is surprisingly fine with it.
When Alenax, Benben, and Anha were toddlers (that's right I'm bringing back the Next gen AU), Melvin would baby sit them. Which, obviously, wasn't easy. Especially since Ahna had a habit of biting people.
When Edith died, Melvin didn't lose hope. He knew that if Benjamin could be revived, so could she, which gave him an idea. Melvin took her body to his lab and collected some toonide, he injected in her and gave her the same electric pulse that the lightning gave Krupptoon, and it worked. Edith's heartbeat started again and Melvin cried, he just saved a life, a life of someone very important to him. He felt like he could do anything.
