my father is such a shit.
so i just... made my first repayment for education loan, and what does he do but say instead like i made a mistake because he can’t touch his cpf money, and i’m like... “what difference does it make if i pay now or defer it by a year? i still have to pay the same amount, except with less interest now.”
him: you don’t understand. you could use the money to invest in smth with better interest rate.
me (internally): i’ve had a grace period of one year before i had to pay the loan, and you never said anything about this even when i talked to you about the loan. so why the fuck would you think i need your advice now? it’s like a year too late.
so great, now i’m paying back my loan to someone who doesn’t want it in his cpf. LOL.
he also tried to guilt trip me for going to gym instead of meeting some family friend, and he can still say “you don’t know how to be a decent person” though he barely cared what time the family friend arrived. he just wants to save face so he blames me. ????????
