Today I was writing a list of what inspires me. Three of the top things on my list: colors! shapes and patterns! creative people! Then dear Aspen came by my studio, demonstrating all 3 of these inspirations! Look at her awesome patterns, colors and she happens to be an amazing inspiring creative person with a warm genuine smile. ❤️. She bought one of my experimental mugs last year and I am so touched that she loves it so much. Sometimes I wonder: (much like if the tree falls in the forest analogy) would art be art, without someone to look at it, touch it, receive it? If we create but don’t share, is it merely self expression, until it touches another human’s eyes, fingers, soul? Sometimes my creations just seem like “products” until I see that connection happen with another human, then they feel more like “art” to me. In the quest for a better life, there’s one fundamental truth & it is THE most vital thing we must always keep in our minds & hearts.....belief in ourselves. Belief is the very foundation upon which our destinies are built.

Our self-image is a force more powerful than most realize, as it draws us to circumstances aligned with our deepest convictions. When we harbor an unwavering faith in our own abilities, the opinions of others cease to hold us hostage. It is only when we correctly believe in ourselves that we can move forward, unperturbed by the judgments of those around us.

In the grand theater of life, we need not fret over the opinions of others. Even though the world has a way of conditioning our minds, we must remember that we hold the power to consciously and deliberately shape our mental landscapes. Our minds, given the right purpose, can move mountains. What truly matters is how we perceive ourselves, for this perception is the compass that guides our journey.

We must also cast aside the heavy chains of self-definitions and labels that hinder our potential, as the words we choose to describe ourselves shape the world we inhabit. Our life’s experiences are deeply entwined with our self-belief. Whether we impress upon ourselves a positive image or one birthed in negativity, we become architects of our own fate. Let us not underestimate our own worth, but instead, let us take pride in our achievements.

To achieve greatness, we must first envision it within our minds. What we desire, we must see clearly. Every decision we make is a stepping stone towards that vision. We must communicate our desires from our conscious mind to the deep reservoirs of our subconscious. This, my friends, is what we say to ourselves, within ourselves. Or simply put, as I've heard many times throughout the years from my mother, Whether you say you can or can't....you're right.

The universe is filled with endless opportunities, just waiting to be seized. The moment we accept an idea, the universe conspires to make it a reality. We must always be sure to affirm the desires within our minds, for this is the practice of harnessing the immense power of our inner selves. And it's my belief, that with self-awareness and a clear purpose, we can achieve greatness beyond our wildest dreams.
