Someone on Twitter: Why do they keep calling it the Golf of Mexico? Sounds ignorant (referring to TWC)

(For anyone actually wondering. Strange pronunciation aside. They keep calling it the Gulf Of Mexico because ya know that’s the actual name of that body of water)

not being a popular writer is kind of disheartening like

i know i'm supposed to write to make myself happy but

it's just kinda sad when i put everything into writing a story, and then when i do post it, it just gets ten notes. or 3 reads on another website. no comments. no reblogs. and people always tell me i'm a good writer but that's kind of hard to believe sometimes, since no one really pays attention to my writing except for a few friends and others.

and just. it makes writing a bit harder knowing that the only person that's gonna care about my writing is me.
