My application for the MLitt in Archaeological Studies at the University of the Highlands and the Islands has now been submitted. Now to await their response with abject terror.

Got a book from the library today, thinking it must have been an arcane text or something - it was cited as a Totally Fundamental Text by a paper that was itself a Totally Fundamental Text, it was in Italian only, and only seemed to exist as a paper copy in a German university. Futhermore, I was not allowed to have it in my hands for more than two weeks.

You Shall Not Handle The Dangerous Forbidden Texts for 15 days or you will void the warranty.

Anyway, the book arrives, and thanks to a period of learning Italian several years ago, some loan words, and looking up the occasional translation I work out what it is.

It is. Are you braced? It is a frigging Masters dissertation.
