Thoughts: This is a really nice collection of vignettes in a universe where Erik made different choices and everything came together much more peacefully

Thoughts: This is just really cute. This is a great look at how it might have gone a little differently and how they could have all been like a family.

Do you know of any fics that take place during FC where the kids try to get Erik and Charles together?

Well I do have a matchmaking tag but I don’t usually see canon fics where they kids are getting them together. Usually it’s AUs where there’s matchmaking or someone like Logan.

I found a few in Ao3’s matchmaking tag that might be what you want though:

Summary: Magneto finds himself in 1962, on the morning they go to Cuba, in the bed of the young Charles who'd spent months letting him think they were in love before breaking his heart. But he is not the same man he was forty years earlier, and as he gets to know young Charles again, he discovers that things might not have been exactly the way he remembered them after all.

Rating: Mature

Warnings: Could be seen as dub-con or taking advantage since young Charles is unaware that he is not with his own time's Erik, Child abuse, violence against a child, self-loathing

Thoughts: I think my favorite part of this fic is that you get real insight into what Erik might have been thinking after Cuba. It shows a lot about how awful the misunderstanding was and how unnecessary it was. I also really love that it gives you a happy ending for both the original timeline and the fixed one.
