I couldn't not make an Uma OC based on the legend himself...
Potatoooooooo (aka "Potato" or "Potatoes"): - Daughter of the legendary Eclipse (irl son for reasoning); I headcanon that Eclipse became a trainer/faculty member at Tracen Academy after a long and successful racing career - Born in the U.K. but moved to Japan when she was still very young. Has been involved in Tracen Academy affairs since she was very young, also - Fears she will never live up to her mom's illustrious legacy, and hides it behind a rough-and-tumble exterior; due to this, she has MANY wins under her belt but never feels satisfied - Failed to get elected class president(?); if canon for her, likely due to her not being as personable as Symboli Rudolf - Travels back to U.K. every now and then -- many of her wins are there (such as how the irl horse was U.K. born) - Poor at spelling
Design Notes: - Chestnut hair with white streak. Irl horse was a chestnut stallion with a white blaze. - Can probably be shown with bandages/scrapes due to getting into physical scraps - Relatively tall, but would hunch down in the vicinity of her mother
I haven't decided for sure what her ear decoration will be, and I have no idea what I want her signature racewear to be (perhaps something based on old English standards). Thus, she is just depicted in the standard Tracen Academy uniform with no ear decoration! Honestly I'd love for her to be added to the game in the future, but until then she's gonna be my Uma OC. <3

I really miss seeing Bonner and Sharna together. They had such a wonderful partnership. You could see their special bond from miles away. Best chemistry we ever saw on DWTS. They both had sparkles in their eyes when they looked at each other. Especially Sharna. She was just blown away by this real Southern Gentleman. Haha. Just kidding.

I think this is all the "new" characters i doodled this year. Sorry if I missed any. My imagination was on overdrive. It will likely be slower this coming year as my job is changing (not a promotion) and will take more of my energy. But here's to a wonderful new year!
My dad just told me about this actual, real racehorse-- Pot8O’s. It delights me so I had to share.
“The origin of his name has several different versions. According to the most common, Abingdon intended to call the young colt "Potato" and instructed the stable boy to write the name on a feed bin. The stable boy spelled the name as "Potoooooooo" (Pot followed by 8 "o"s; that is, a failed attempt at spelling phonetically), which so amused Abingdon that he adopted the spelling.”
