The Faithful Bride: a POTCO / TLOPO build in The Sims 4 !
I made this for my own POTC inspired Sulani save, but I was really stoked with how it turned out so I’d thought I’d share for other POTC-lovers or other historical simmers in need of a tavern ! It is coded as a bar, however there is an upstairs living space for the owners so it could also be used as residential. Very very very CC heavy; Island Living is my only pack, and I’ve done my utmost to include a link to everything I used below. if I have missed something, I’ll be happy to direct you !
you can find it in the gallery under emcads with cc checked.
a complete ( I think ) list of CC below:

Finally getting around to transferring old stuff to the new computer and I found this gem. From the original Pirates of the Caribbean Online. This was taken in 2011, I think? It was Partners N Crime's 4 year anniversary back when my second character was just a little baby pirate. We amassed the fleet led by Captain Del and the Victory Shark, sank everything in our path, then stormed the shores of Kingshead for some good old fashioned plundering. And then off to the Faithful Bride for dancing and rum. God, I miss those days.
Did I install a remake of one of my favorite mmo games to ever exist and then proceeded to play it all day long? Yes. Yes I did. Do I regret it? No. No I do not. Today was a ton of fun! The Legend of Pirates Online is fabulous. Still glitchy, but I had quite a time. It all started, when at level three, with nothing more than a simple rusty cutlass, I got caught up in an invasion of the undead. From there I got invited to a guild really quickly, and my guildmates proceeded to help me level up and do my quests! In a day I got to level ten! And it was a ton of fun!! #TheLegendofPiratesOnline #POTCO #remake #Pirate #game #mmorpg #pirates #captainlucygoldtoe #sparrowatheartfavorites https://www.instagram.com/p/B_o-qlND5XR/?igshid=3fsxvvegn84o
since I can only put ten pics in a photo post, here’s a proper tour of the rest of the governor’s mansion build. it isn’t strictly historically accurate (or 100% accurate to the film) but i tried to use a combination of game, film, and historical inspiration as well as my own imagination. i also plopped in the inspo shots where appropriate ! the only thing i skipped was the gardening, which just due to the size of the lot.
Floor Layouts
downstairs
floor 1
floor 2
attic
exterior
back
entry hall (ft. norrington’s sword muahaha)
parlor - front. this would be the room to host and greet regular visitors, and seat everyone before dinner. it’s also more of a “ladies’ room” in contrast to the study next door, so it’s where young debutantes could perform their piano, paint, practice some dancing etc.
dining room. one thing that is definitely not accurate is the placement of the fireplaces lining up with the chimneys. don’t worry about it.
study. and doubling as a library/smoking room. ( although it’s a sad looking library i suppose )
salon - back. this is the room i figure would be used for closer acquaintances and intimate friends, and to actually host salons. it’s not actually any smaller than the pink room, which would have been the french tradition, at any rate, but with its size it could also double as a ballroom ;) and yes the ladies walgrave is very anachronistic but i am a reynolds hoe.
The Second Floor
guest room 1 ( this is a bit bigger, so in my mind this would be reserved for a guest(s) of a higher class )
guest room 2 ( more teeny ! either a lower class, or a single guest )
elizabeth’s room
elizabeth’s very smol personal study
weatherby’s room
the bath. we stan the classical influence.
The Downstairs
servant’s hall. admittedly my only inspo for this was downton abbey’s servant’s hall so ... hopefully they didn’t change too much in 200 years oops.
this holiday season, I’m thinking of the ones we’ve lost… specifically Leon Swordfury, who my sister and I played Pirates of the Caribbean online with and were never online at the same time as them again. He’s probably out there somewhere, though he might not be… but I miss you Leon.
