Summary:
"Honestly, kiddo, I would be lying if I told you I hadn't been waiting for something like this to happen eventually."
Stiles tears his gaze away from the utterly fascinating sight of his brand new claws popping in and out of the tips of his fingers to shoot his dad a betrayed look. "That's just rude, you know."
[5 times people aren't sure if Stiles is telling the truth about how he got turned, plus the 1 time everyone knows he just has to be lying.]
The Proud and the Prejudice by Potrix
“Don’t ruin pretty face,” a familiar, accented voice drawls. “It's only thing you have going for you.”
“Fuck off, Mashkov,” Kent barks back automatically before he stills, and then slowly turns around to face the other man. “Mashkov? What the fuck are you doing here?”
Kent has annoying but well-meaning friends, a lot of (internalized) issues, and a mild pretty bad swearing problem. But he gets to kiss a hot guy at Pride, so there's that.
show me how you want it to be by daydoodles
It starts with a tweet, which shouldn't amount to much but somehow it becomes everything.
hell of a feeling by blindinglights
Kent’s sure this will be a huge mistake, but he finds himself angrily jamming his finger on the up button on the elevator and then on the number of the floor he knows Alexei is staying on. The game tonight was the usual back and forth Aces and Falconers games usually are, but tonight Alexei kept checking him every chance he got. And sure, it’s hockey, and this is a typical night normally. But it’s Alexei, and Alexei somehow always manages to get underneath Kent’s skin.
Kent knocks on Alexei’s door, going over in his head exactly what he’ll say to him this time. It immediately dies in his throat when Alexei answers the door wet, and in nothing but a towel that hangs dangerously low on his hips.
Kent swallows hard.
Just Stand Here With Me by historical_allusion
Kent hears his soulmate's thoughts. Alexei hears his soulmate's music.
Kent's worried this mismatch in abilities means their soul bond isn't meant to be. And it's not like a bond guarantees a good relationship anyway.
Alexei suspects his soulmate is from Vegas after their goal song echoes back in his head during a game. But no matter how hard he looks, he can't seem to pin down exactly who they might be. All he can do is keep reaching out for his soulmate and hope he hears him back.
Sunrise Never Looked So Good by historical_allusions
Alexei wasn't expecting much for his off-season training in LA. Maybe go to the beach or see the new Star Wars World at Disneyland. Those plans all change when he finds out Kent Parson is renting out the other half of his duplex for the summer.
But a little summer romance never hurt anyone...

Summary:
The present is there when Tony drags himself out of his workshop after another all-nighter, sitting on his breakfast bar, neatly wrapped and impossible to miss. Tony squints at it for a moment, suspicious, then shrugs, and wanders closer to pick it up.
flirting (with danger) by Potrix for its_inherited
Tony stares at the man shackled to the wall for a long, unblinking moment. “You’re supposed to be dead.
”The man raises an unimpressed eyebrow back at him. “Right back at ya, pal.”
Established relationship. Some Loki-wannabe pulls a genderswap spell on one of the boys. Should wear off on it’s own, so ofc they decide to make the best of the unexpected weirdness and have sex. Few days later and surprise, the spell is still active, because somebody accidentally got knocked up! Double kudos if it's Bucky, because we definitely need more pregnant Bucky fics out there. Love you all, guys <3
“Pardon my French, but what the fuck is it you’re tryin’ to say here?”
The nurse gulps, wide-eyed, and takes a half-step backwards. Tony can’t really blame him; it’s not every day that you have to tell the former Winter Soldier that yes, his dick has reappeared and the rest of his body is back to normal, except for one tiny little but extremely important detail.
He puts a hand on Bucky’s back, feeling him lean into it ever so slightly, and shoots the nurse a small, apologetic smile. The nurse still looks like he’d rather be anywhere but in a room with the two of them, but, thankfully, that’s when Helen steps back into the room. It’s been ages since she’s been fazed by any of the stuff that’s constantly happening to them, which is probably a good thing right now, because this is definitely somewhere at the top of the weird shit list.
“James,” Helen says, pulling a chair closer and sitting down opposite of them. “Let’s just get right down to it, shall we?”
“I’d really fuckin’ appreciate that, yeah,” Bucky snaps, but there’s the faintest tremble in his voice, and his knuckles are white because he’s clutching the edge of the exam table so tightly. “‘Cause from what I’ve been told so far, it sounds like there’s a—that I have—”
“That you’re pregnant, yes.” Helen crosses her legs, flipping her tablet so Bucky and Tony can see the screen. “Since we’re dealing with magic we’re not entirely sure how your body is maintaining the pregnancy, but from what we can tell, you’re about 7 to 10 weeks along, and the fetus is developing accordingly.”
Tony can’t really make anything out in the pictures Helen scrolls through, but his heart starts beating faster nonetheless. Because that’s his kid, right there, his and Bucky’s. The kid they made, the two of them together. He smiles down at the tablet helplessly, reaching out to touch.
Before he can, though, Bucky suddenly stands, opens his mouth, then closes it again, shakes his head, and crosses the room towards the door.
It slams shut with a bang behind him. The ensuing silence is deafening.
(More after the break!)
Helen, when Tony can bring himself to glance back up at her, is looking sympathetic. “Can you, uh,” Tony says, then has to clear his suddenly dry throat. “Can you walk me through the options? I’ll talk to Bucky after, well. Later.”
Tony doesn’t know how to feel when he’s waiting for the elevator back up to the penthouse half an hour later. The good news is that Bucky’s young—at least in some sense of the word—and healthy and resilient, thanks to the serum, so neither carrying the child to term nor terminating the pregnancy should be too much of an issue, despite the unusual circumstances.
Physically speaking, at least. Emotionally? Bucky’s earlier reaction makes Tony think that might turn out to be a little more complicated.
And Tony doesn’t blame him, of course not. He can’t even begin to imagine how Bucky must be feeling right now, how strange and disconcerting this whole situation must be for him. It’s not like Tony doesn’t find it really fucking weird, too.
He’ll support Bucky no matter what his decision will be, no question about that, but to do that, he has to find out what Bucky wants first.
“FRIDAY,” he says as he steps out of the elevator, “please locate Bucky and ask him if it’s okay for me to join him.”
“Sergeant Barnes is currently in the master bedroom,” FRIDAY replies after a moment. “He is expecting you, sir.”
Tony’s eyebrows shoot up in surprise. Bucky tends to hide away when he’s overwhelmed, wanting privacy to process whatever he’s struggling with before he allows Tony back in. It always puts Tony on edge, not being able to help right away, so he doesn’t have to be asked twice to hurry to the bedroom.
Bucky’s standing in front of the full-length mirror, shirtless, both hands splayed over his lower stomach. His expression when he meets Tony’s eyes is unreadable for a moment, then turns sheepish. “Sorry ‘bout earlier. That was shitty, runnin’ off like that.”
“Hey, no.” Tony moves to stand behind him, hands on Bucky’s sides, and presses a kiss to his shoulder. “I’d be freaking out if it was me, trust me.”
Bucky smiles at that, small and brief. “Oh, I am, trust me. This is—I don’t even know, Tony.”
Tony winds his arms around him at that, squeezing him gently. They stand like that, still and quiet, for several long moments before Bucky says, “I never thought I’d have kids, you know.”
He sounds wistful, sad, and Tony holds him a little tighter, kissing the back of his neck.
“Never even let myself dream ‘bout it, back then. What was I supposed to do? Marry some poor girl I could never love properly, wasn’t attracted to?” He shakes his head, sighing. “I’d resigned myself to being an uncle to Stevie’s kids. I thought that’s all I was ever goin’ to get. And now I—now I get a chance to—to—”
He breaks off, choked up, and Tony’s breath catches.
“Are you saying what I think you’re saying?”
“I want to have this kid,” Bucky whispers hoarsely. “I know it’s really fuckin’ weird,” he laughs, echoing Tony’s earlier thoughts, “but I wanna have your kid. I really, really do.”
“Babe,” is all Tony manages, and then Bucky is already turning in his arms to bring their mouths together. “Holy shit, babe, yes. Yes.”
He’s laughing into the kiss, giddy with emotion, and Bucky’s smiling too, for real now, eyes wet and shiny. He rests his forehead against Bucky’s when they have to break apart for air, panting and grinning.
“Hey,” he says, taking Bucky’s hand and linking their finger. “We’re having a baby.”
Bucky grins back. “Yeah,” he ducks back down for another kiss, “we are.”
