Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone🎃
Bad decisions
Request: Hi! I was wondering if you would be willing to write some snape x reader where the reader & snape are married and the reader is taken hostage on a mission but is pregnant & snape is desperate to get her back with a fluffy ending?
A/N: Thank you very much for requesting! I really loved your request, but I honestly feel like this isn’t what you wanted. I really lack of writing something good in the past time. But thank you anyway!
Missions for the Order were always difficult, you had to comply to what Dumbledore had told you: Be careful and don't raise any attention!
As of that, it had been going well, you were as careful as one should be, while doing exactly what you've been told. And while you'd say you were relatively prepared, there was one person, who definitley wasn't: your dear husband, Severus Snape.
Ever since you got to know him, he was nervous about you going on missions.
Ever since you two got married, Severus was beyond anxious. For your safety, your well-being and your precious life as a couple.
Most of the time, you could deal with this, but right now, you were sure you were equally terrified. It hasn't been that long since you wed the man that most students at Hogwarts dreaded, but you have been with him for quite some years. What made the whole situation a lot worse was, that about a week ago you had discovered something that you knew would change both yours and Severus' life drastically: You were pregnant.
Of course no-one of the Order knew. Not even Dumbledore, who knew most of things without being told. And, who would have thought, you didn't even tell your husband, far too nervous about what he'd think. Did he ever plan on starting a family? If yes, did he ever wanted to start a family with you? Well.. He did marry you, so he at least seemed to enjoy the idea of being with you. Why did you even worry about all that? Severus would definitely be happy about becoming a father.
Shacking your head, you tried to get the concering thoughts about how he might or might not react out of your head. Dumbledore wanted you on this mission, so you should concentrate.
The alley you walked through was dark, far darker than you imagined a night to be. You couldn't even see where exactly your feet were carrying you, but somehow you knew where to go to.
There was a house right at the end of it, and in there, so Albus Dumbledore himself said, was an advice for one of the horcruxes. You only hoped that he was right, because even though you've had your wand within reach, you were frightened. The darkness itself wasn't what made you so panicked, it was the silence. A night so quiet, you inhaling and exhaling quite a bit fast was the only sound to be heared. Which was why you grew stiff the moment a hand was placed over your mouth. Who was this? And how did this mysterious being came to be right behind you if you didn't hear anything.
You panicked. Hard. Your mind starting to run with solutions to get out of this situation, but also with possible scenarious to happen to you if you were unsuccessfull escaping.
And when you heard a crack, you knew you were. There would have been no need to search the thickening darkness for what it was, that had been broken into two- you knew what it was. Your wand, right now, the only thing that could have saved you. Your only hope, destroyed. And you thought about Severus when you started to struggle for breath. And you thought about your baby and what its life could have been like, if you wouldn't have been so stupid and told somebody about the life growing within you. If only you would have told Severus..
- - -
It was hours since you've been gone. And Severus knew that it normally wouldn't take this long. Dumbledore's instructions were rather simple: Go there, look if you can find anything, if yes, come back and tell, if no, leave as fast as you can.
You had started the mission with a smile on your face. „Severus.. there's no need to worry so much. You know I can do that!“ he heard your voice in his head; you were so optimistic. Of course he knew you could do that, you were strong and brave and sometimes he wished he could remember that. But then he realised that in the whole of this world, there was only one person he treasured: you. All the bad things in his life, all the horrible things that happened to him- Severus would gladly experience them all over again, if only that could make you return safely and happy, with this warm smile on your face, in this very moment.
There was no trace of you. No sign if you were successful or not, no sign if you even returned. And so Severus took matters into his own hand.
He had asked Dumbledore to tell him about your whereabouts, pleaded him to be able to help you, but for the safety of the Order and the whole of its members, the elder wizard declined to do something; yet he told what you had to do. That was all it took for Severus to know.
It seemed as if he was completelly alright sacrifying the life of you for everyone else's. Just like he planned it with Harry.
To prevent that, Severus had tried his hardest to save the boy, and now that it was you, he would to the same. Because you believed in him, and you trusted him, but most of all, because you loved him the way he loved you.
Apparating himself to where he knew you had been, Severus stormed to the direction of the lonely, destructed house you had been told to go. He knew this house far better than he should, and even thinking about you having to go there alone sickened him.
That's where Voldemort made him swear his oath, that's where Severus himself sealed his fate. And Severus was beyond afraid what this man would do to you.
He reached it faster than he would've thought, yet far too slow than he anticipated. What if they hurt you? The sheer thought of Voldemort using the cruciatus curse on you sent a shiver down his spine. He would save you, and he'd kill everyone that even tried to lay a finger on you.
Even before he found out where exactly you were, he heard voices. A cold one, a cruel one and yours. You were crying, pleading them not to hurt you. Severus had never heard that much fright in your soft voice, and he desperately wished to never have to hear that again.
He didn't waste another second, but flung the door open in an instant. Of course he was aware that whatever he'd see would shock him, but seeing you all bloody and in pain was worse than he could have imagined. And even though it had been there ever since you left, the rage within his veins raised.
„Severus, how wonderful to join us.“ the cruel voice reached his ears. It was the Dark Lord himself, and he smiled. This whole situation was exactly what he wanted.
„You let her go, whatever you want I will tell you, but you'll let her go!“ Severus growled in a low, dangerous tone. His dark eyes shifting to you, seeing the helplesness in your features, the fear.
Chuckling sickeningly, Voldemort turned to look at the dark haired man. „I would never have thought you'd care so much for someone who was on that fool Dumbledore's side. It seems to me you should re-think about who you swore to be loyal to.“
He moved over to where you were held tightly by Wormtail, and moved a long, freezing finger along your cheek. „But I realised that you would come, I knew you would. You let them fool you into believing they cared about you. That she would care about you. And she must be a wonderful liar with pretty questionable methods.“
During the whole of his speech, you concentrated on not showing emotions. He wasn't to know about your fear, he'd only use it to his advantage. Right now you had to be strong, for Severus, for yourself and for your baby. You'd survive this, Severus was here and he'd save you. You saw the look in his eyes, those warm brown eyes were filled with so many emotions.
In the meantime, Voldemort had turned around again, projecting his attention back to your husband, all while Wormtail dug his fingers deeper into your arms. You would have cried out in pain, but of what help would that be? So while concentrating on keeping quiet, you didn't realise Severus to throw a cruciatus at wormtail, barely missing you by the arm. His servants cry made Voldemort turn, an action that Severus took to his advantage, he took you by the hand and apparated back to the Orders safe house, leaving you both dizzy and out of breath.
„I was frightened.“ you called out, after finally catching your breath again.
„So was I.“ his deep voice replied.
„You safed us.“
„I should have never let you go on this mission!“ Severus said as he looked into your [E/C].
„And I should have never left before telling you.“
„Telling me what?“
You looked at him in silence. He was so beautiful. With all his edges and past misunderstandings.
To be finally able to look at him again made a smile appear on your face.
„That I love you.“ you said, your smile still on your face. You grabbed his hand and placed it on your stomach. „..and that you're going to be a father.“
Severus really is a wonderful character and by far one of my absolute favorite (fictional) characters, but I really suck writing him.

Welcome to the potterhead club! How do you feel about the ending?
I actually have been starting to watch it, I might buy the whole set in order to watch the rest of them. I had just finished the Prisoner of Azkaban. That is one of my favorites and I'm in love with Harry, thanks to @just-one-ordinary-fangirl she introduced me into this potterhead fandom and I will see the others soon, they aren't currently available but I will see them soon enough!
I find extremely ‘funny’ how some brazillian Potterheads, demonize James to glorify Severus and always put Severus as the victim and James as the ‘the devil’. I’m not defending James or something and I completely agree he was an arse to Snape. But after all Severus did *insert here the post with all evidence about Snape* People put him as a holy and the only and one victim is beyond me.
Progress Blog 9
I have created a survey to gather information about Harry Potter literacy on Google forms and have sent it out to three of my favorite Harry Potter blogs I follow on Tumblr in the Potterhead fandom. I only expected to get MAYBE two of them back, but what I got back instead astounded me. All throughout the day after I sent out my survey, I got SIX responses! Flabbergasted at how I was getting more than three responses, I went back to Tumblr to consult my direct messages. One of the accounts I sent the survey link to shared with me that she would love to help out by sending my survey out to her friends in hopes of giving me exceptional results.
I am so in awe of the members of the Potterhead fandom and am so blessed to be a part of a fandom as genuinely caring and compassionate as the Potterheads.
to all the other fandom who thought we're gone forever!
