Among other things, it’s a way to record and learn about our government structures both good and bad. #sexualassault #ceramic #ceramics #potteryispolitical #bodypolitic #politics #installationart #communityart this is my first showing of a sampling of vessels from my SAS series. each vessel is a stand-in for a sexual assault survivor, who chose to share their story with the series. they also chose a phrase that embodied how they felt and wrote it out and sent a photo of it to me. i then printed it as a #ceramic #decal and applied it to the #vessel. the #vessels are #suspended above the ground to capture the feeling of #tension one is suspended in after a #trauma. i would love #feedback on this on-going #work : #questions and #comments are welcome!
