Alright, first Transformers post of 2022!

Well, what's this? The two of them going out for a glamorous night out on the town? What could have possibly prompted this? Maybe a future fanfic may shed some details 😉

This one has been sitting, desperately waiting to be finished, and I just kept ignoring it. (I feel so bad for neglecting it 😖)

But, this year, I vowed that I was going to finished the projects that I haven't finished and get them out to the world!

Oh man this project is so much fun to make. And now that the rough sketch is finished I finally get to have fun making the line art and color it! So as always, stay tuned for the next update!

Whoo, sketch dump time! This was definitely fun to do, especially with doing some canon fan art for a change! Plus the little scene that came out during it was fun as well XD

(I did have to trace Roddy to get a feel for drawing him so it should help in the future for me XD)

Squall and Rodimus do not belong to me. Just Light and Powerdrain.

Okay, so the cops n mob au is something I have to get on with my ocs! I will be lining and coloring them but these are just a teaser for you guys to enjoy XD

So, after thinking long and hard here's the back story I came up with:

Powerdrain is a big time casino owner as a cover while working for the mob as the "fixer". Meaning that with his hypnotic ability he can make innocent bots take the fall for Megatron's crimes while manipulating the evidence against Megatron to incriminate the innocent bot instead. (Inspiration for this thanks to @pastelpaperplanes backstory for Megatron XD)

Meanwhile Light, a sweet and gentle femme who aspires to be a big time singer with her passion and talent, is going home from her simple job as a secretary when she ends up being at the wrong place at the wrong time. While Powerdrain is on a job she accidentally happened upon it and was absolutely scared out of her mind. Surprised by her sudden interloping Powerdrain knows that he has to take care of her before she goes blabbing to the cops. Once he's finished with his job the hunt was on.

Running away from the scene Light tries to hide from him but Powerdrain manages to hunt her down and corner her from escaping. Telling her that she doomed herself by seeing him do his work she had one of two choices to make: either die where she stood or work for him at his casino as one of his dancers, as well as breaking off all contact with her family and friends. Freaking out and not wanting to die Light felt like she had no choice, especially if she tried to manage escaping again. Spark-broken at what she had to do she agreed, telling herself that she was doing this to protect those she deeply cared about and keep them safe.

Pleased that she, in his mind, made the smart decision Powerdrain whisks her away to his casino, setting her up with all that she needs to be his new dancer. It was a short time later where he discovers her natural talent and quickly makes her his star entertainer. At the same time he gets the idea to loan her to the club on special occasions or if they're in need of a replacement dancer.

Trying to keep her helm held high through everything Light feels somewhat ashamed that she has to go through this. But she has to keep telling herself that she has to grin and bear through it to keep her friends and family safe Who, by the way, Powerdrain takes joy in using against her to keep her in line and not defy him.

At least when she's at the club Light can see her friends that she's made and catch up with them. But when it comes to Orion she can't say for sure about a strange feeling she gets from that he's not who he says he is. But whatever it is she's not one to jump to wild conclusions about someone's past and why they need to keep it a secret and gets along with him either way.

I can't wait to do more with this and I love seeing everything that's coming out of this amazing au! @pastelpaperplanes you've truly come up with a great way for everyone to come together and have an amazing time creating something! Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see what else you come up with!

So, unfortunately, after some serious situations and such the TF OC zine that I made this for was canceled for the foreseeable future so we were allowed to finally post our finished pieces.

I will admit, I had a hard time coming up with a concept for what I wanted but thinking of the classic black and white monster movies of old I definitely had my concept XD (And give me an excuse to draw Powerdrain after so long of neglecting him XD)
