“When young Muslim people have real Iman
When young Muslims have real strengthen in their Belief
Then their have the power to change the world
Their have the power to make the world a better place!”
Merasa diri tidak berdosa adalah satu dosa. Orang yang dihijab untuk mengenali dosanya, akan merasa dirinya tak berdosa. Ini sudah merupakan azab. Yakni orang yang tidak menyedari dirinya berbuat dosa.
Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin
You unravel me, with a melody You surround me with a song Of deliverance, from my enemies Till all my fears are gone I’m no longer a slave to fear I am a child of God I’m no longer a slave to fear I am a child of God From my mothers womb You have chosen me Love has called my name I’ve been born again, into your family Your blood flows through my veins I’m no longer a slave to fear I am a child of God (X5)
I am surrounded By the arms of the father I am surrounded By songs of deliverance We’ve been liberated From our bondage We’re the sons and the daughters Let us sing our freedom You split the sea So I could walk right through it All my fears were drowned in perfect love You rescued me So I could stand and sing I am child of God

I asked her about her struggles and she asked me of mine.
OH how long have you been a revert? this is a bit random but I just felt like sharing! hope you don’t mind. this was my answer :)
“Religious vibes are the best vibes. You hear so many people asking about the meaning of life. You even get it in rap lyrics, every soul wants to know the point of the (seemingly neverending) ups and downs, sorrows, fears and overall trails of life. We all feel the same feeings just different stitches. So many people have that void and try and fill it with other things to numb it, but a void can’t be numbed. It’s still going to be there waiting for you the next morning when the highs over or the boy stops texting back. It’s just beautiful to have a purpose, to know that it will be worth it. It will be worth it in the end. And I’m not going to lie when I first came to the UK I was tripping a little bit, thoughts of taking off the hijab and “reinventing” myself. But realising how is changing myself to suit my environment reinvention? if anything it’s weak character, for what? more insta likes? haha. Anyway so when I first came I wasn’t taking my prayers seriously and it was my bday my friends invited me out and I was tired of saying no. we were outside the uni club my phone literally went demented and shut off (it was full batt before we arrived). it had my ticket ID everything and the bouncer pretty much kicked me out. I tried to argue “but i dont even drink” embarrassing myself some more, how clear does it have to get? This is not your place you are not meant for that. And I went through a depressed phase thinking where I fit in to all of this? When applying abroad I said good/bad its still an experience but it started to get like being a fasting kid at a candy shop. So I opened the quran and randomly flipped to a verse online and read it. Then the next day I watched one of those islamic lecturers on youtube. “What do if depressed, muslim etc” then he said read surat adduha (93), it was revealed to the prophet pbuh at a time when he was down as well and people had rejected him etc, so I decide to read it. And it sounded a bit familiar which was strange. I realise its the EXACT verse I randomly flipped on the night before. How crazy is that subhannallah. and that’s when i decided to really commit to salah like it’s a sort of discipline and we all need God’s blessing uno? I heard one speaker say if you miss a prayer deliberately in that moment you are not a believer and it shook me. Ahaha it gets so awkward excusing myself to pray here. “brb guys i gotta um…yeah i have something to do:))” “what?” “oh pray” “what”. So i’m just trying to surround myself with more likeminded people. Lil videos like this help a lot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2zPpj1V31IApologies for the essay!”
