I think Tim has given a very decent reply on the matter, with consideration on the impact that could have on their careers, more importantly on Armie’s case and his state of mind. Honestly it’s not a matter for anyone to say anything unless n until Armie himself does it. It’s sensitive in every sense. Tim could have distanced himself from it, or simply asked such statement be erased. Yet, in a magazine with such wide readership, Tim acknowledged it. That’s the key point that should be focused on

Timmy used this opportunity to give the most reasonable, articulate, and dignified response to this question that he possibly could have given, imho. He could easily have side-stepped the question, but instead addressed it directly, with the appropriate gravitas and discretion that an answer to such a question demands under the circumstances. That’s all he needed to say, no more, no less. He said all the things that mattered, imho.
I think people dissatisfied with Timmy’s statement about Armie need to understand that this is an extremely sensitive discussion that deserves its own time and space to address, and it needs to be first and foremost addressed by Armie himself, if anyone should, since it’s his story to tell.
