Ingredients: 1 loaf of French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes. 8 large eggs. 2 cups milk. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon salt. For Praline Topping:. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 1 cup chopped pecans. 2 tablespoons light corn syrup. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt. Add the cubed French bread to the bowl and gently toss to coat all the bread cubes with the egg mixture. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes, or refrigerate overnight for best results.
