Is vegetarianism allowed? Is it both men and women, or just women? How long do people typically stay in the program?
For those of you who don’t know this is an ask about Dine Monte Nido. I did the local Dine program for a little while back in May and June.
Vegetarianism is allowed. Veganism is not. They will also work with you on food allergies. However, most Dine programs do not employ a dietitian and therefore you are in the honor code as far as following your meal plan. There is a minimum amount you have to complete and you will have to supplement for whatever you don’t complete. If you supplement more than once they typically ask you to do a higher level of care as this program is only meant for people who need just a little extra support.
I do not know if it’s coed. The group I attended was just 4 women and typically Monte Nido programs are women only. But that may be different for the Dine programs. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just women though.
Typical length of stay is as long as you want. I was there for a few weeks because my work schedule changed and I could no longer make it to the groups but I know some people attend for more than a year.
Let me know if you have any other questions. :)
