We really forgot how wild and iconic Freaked (1993) was. Pure chaotic body horror mixed with weird comedy, insane practical effects, and unforgettable mutant designs. Fun fact: Keanu Reeves — yes, Baba Yaga himself — secretly played Ortiz the Dog Boy in the film. Absolute cult classic energy
Midnight fishing
During a foggy night, the crew of a fishing trawler is hoping for the catch of their lifes. Meanwhile the lighthouse and the full moon illuminate the night to help the fishers navigate these dangerous waters.
Behind the scenes
In the two photos below, you can see my setup for this picture. I made myself a little water pit with some watertight foil used for garden ponds and filled it with water. So my insanely talented friend, Lexi, has reached the final round of voting to win a six-month scholarship with one of the best makeup FX schools in the world. I’ve seen this Davy Jones cosplay first hand and it’s seriously amazing!
If she makes it into the Top 5, then the decision will be down to a panel of professional judges, but she needs as many votes as possible to get there first!
You can vote once a day every day via Facebook until Friday here:

And please reblog and spread this as much as you can. THANK YOU!
