Prayer Board Inspo 🕊️✝️🤲🏽💒
Habakkuk 2:2a - "And the Lord answered me and said, write the vision and make it plain"
This is not my personal prayer board as I'm in the process of moving but feel free to click on the source link or search @emmyyannaa on Pinterest for more. She's got a great account with girly, faith-based content 🩷
Supplies 🛍️🗞️✂️ -
💕 Bulletin board - Alternatives include a white board, cardboard, or styrofoam. If using old or recycled materials, spots or stains can be covered with decorative paper or fabric which can found at charity shops, thrift stores, craft supplies, and even big box stores like Walmart
🩷 Thumbtacks - (or magnets depending on your board medium)
💕 Index cards
🩷 Post-It Notes or other paper
💕 Envelopes
🩷 Stickers
💕 Writing utensils
🩷 Other ephemera - inspiration can come from anywhere and there are no real rules to a prayer board but that you keep at it. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 instructs us as children of God to "pray without ceasing". Magazine cutouts, sketching, cute packaging, tape, glitter, mustard seeds, flower petals, or beads; the list goes on!
Below are some sections based on this format although you can personalize your board to fit your needs and prayer life with as many or as few categories.
💕 My Life - any areas of life that need nurturing or personal growth can be prayed about. Goals, good or bad habits, skills, and so on.
🩷 My Faith - Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". One's faith is the connection we share with Jesus, the real and total acknowledgement that not only did He die for us, that He lives with all with all power in His hands. And that acknowledgement can always be improved upon. Hebrews 11:6 says "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."
💕 My Relationships - whether it be romantic, familial, platonic, or collaborative, all relationships need prayer. Many of us have come as far as we have because of the people God has placed in our lives. Those people need prayer too. If you see someone struggling, if things are rocky, or if you want to stay in a good place, talk to God about it.
🩷 Prayer Requests - interceding one someone's behalf is a gift we as believers can always utilize. The more support we give one another, the more we can bless others and be blessed in return 🩷
💕 Answered - Let answered prayers serve as a reminder that God is always in control. Writing details on the back of the prayer like when and how the prayer was answer will serve as a timeline and reminder of how much our Heavenly Father cares about us 🤍
🩷 Other - One's finances, schooling, specific goals, career and/or business are also areas that can be prayed over. Make it yours!
Hello all of you wonderful and faithful people,
For all of those who posted prayer requests as a response to my original post, I have added all of your prayers to my board and have been keeping you in my prayers already. I apologize for not messaging you all right after I saw them, I got a bit distracted but began praying for all of you immediately. God bless you all and please feel free to continue to post prayer requests in any form on my blog. I am always happy and willing to have more to pray for!
Love,
Katie
I would like to add some prayer requests to my prayer board. Is there anything you would like me to pray for? It could be as simple as "keep me in your prayers" or more specific. But if there is anything at all you would like me to pray for, I would love to do that for you. Don't be afraid, take the leap. God bless
