Almost at the end.
No cartoon on Good Friday, as usual for Tomics. Instead we'll have an Easter Sunday cartoon. See you there!

I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. (Joel 2,25)
Ok this is gonna be a legit question. Why do you think Andrew, as Peter's brother, is featured so little in the Gospels? I don't even think he's mentioned in Acts or any of Paul's letters? It always striked me as odd that James and John the sons of Zebedee are always there as a duo in the Gospels but even when Peter is there Andrew is rarely talked about :(
Oooh that is a great question! I've never thought about it but you're right, he is less present! Whenever Jesus limits the amount of boys He invites somewhere it's Peter and the Boanerges. Now that i think of it, those are also the apostles He personally gave nicknames (other boys have cool nicknames too, like Didimos, Iscariot, Zealot, but they probably weren't given by Jesus).
From the sources i could find on it, this cool article from Benny the XVI talks about the mentions of Andrew in the Gospels, i think you might like it. John 12,20-22 is an especially interesting case to me, because the Greeks asked Philip to see Jesus but before he went to the Man Himself, he felt the need to consult it with Andrew, so he must've been someone respected and valued for his advice among our boys. Hey maybe it's because of this convo that they made Philip the other disciple of Creepy John in the Chosen series? Cause traditionally it would be John
So yeah i don't know why our boy Protokletos is mentioned less. Maybe it's his personality? Maybe he flew under the radar more easily than his boisterous older brother? Maybe John & Jacob were more of a duo because John was the youngest kid in the group and his bro felt the need to keep an eye on him always so they were inseparable? Or maybe he just had a different role and was okay with being "just one of the twelve"? Many things to ponder.
@kaleb-is-definitely-sane @apilgrimpassingby @margindoodles2407 any ideas?
