Baghdad was attacked recently. I read somewhere that around 250 people were killed, children are trapped under buildings, and these people don't have the resources or the support from other countries. The attack was done RIGHT AFTER Ramadan, which is an EXTREMELY important part of the Islamic religion. In a lot of ways, this terrorist act can be seen as an attack on Islam itself. These people are victims of terrorists everyday, fuck, they are the majority of ISIS's victims. So where the fuck is the international updates? Where are the #PrayforBaghdad trends and the media coverage? Why is it that when middle easterners are killed so often and during such a symbolic, religious moment, that the western media turns a blind eye? Maybe, if people were actually shown the horrors that these people face everyday, people wouldn't be so fucking ignorant and racist. On one hand, Muslims are being attacked by terrorists on a much larger scale than any other races, and on the other hand, ignorant assholes are stereotyping all Muslims are being terrorists. Does that make any fucking sense?!

So a couple of towns over, the Islamic Centre was torched.  The amount of hatred that has been inspired in Scotland from the crisis in Paris alone is horrifying. These are not revenge attacks against ISIS. Your local Muslim community are not ISIS. By torturing them, you are torturing innocent British civilians.
