Such a horrible tragedy for the Catholic community. That a violent gunman would open fire on innocent, pure children at Christ's Holy Mass. Jesus, hold these two precious little angels close to your heart. They died remembering Your own Holy Sacrifice. No one can hurt them now because they are with You in Your Kingdom. Please heal those children still clinging to life and recovering from their wounds.
At times like this, we must believe even more firmly in the Resurrection and Jesus' promise of new Life. Jesus, too, was violently and unjustly killed. He never forgets those who have suffered in the same way, and He draws them all to His arms, where there is no more suffering, no more pain.
