“I had some training through my family but nothing aimed at telepaths specifically. I’m the first to develop telepathy in my family line besides my grandmother. My grandmother was a mutant and had three mutant kids who had mutant kids so it’s not a big shock or anything. I went to China to train and refine my abilities but my empathic abilities have always been stronger.” she paused at his last question, frowning slightly. 

“I do have the ability to manipulate people’s emotions and even change those of an entire room if I’m focusing enough but it feels dirty. I don’t like to actually... mess with people’s thoughts and emotions. I can but I mean... morally I shouldn’t.”

“It’s a dumb emotion.” Albeit one she’d been feeling a lot lately. The sheer amount of noise everywhere was wearing her down the longer she spent out here; it almost made her wish for the lab again. At least there were people to explain things, even if conversations were few and far between.

of course she knows what’s going through his head; he wants to know the why’s of this. why had she made the deal? why had she resorted to that? especially when she used to speak so horribly of it? and, again, of course ronnie wants answer none of the above ( oh how glad she is that he can’t hear her thoughts anymore ). he wouldn’t like the answer anyway. and despite being a demon damned from hell, she still didn’t want to upset him that much.
