One thing about homestuck Act 6 that really bothers

me is that Caliborn is somehow able to interact with

The pre retcon timeline. How is this possible? He only

exists post retcon presumably, since Universe C only

exists post retcon. People originally assumed he was

pre retcon, but he can’t be because universe C

doesn’t exist in the original timeline.

The pre retcon timeline shouldn’t even

exist by his point. He should be seeing the kids from

the post retcon timeline on his monitors? I know that

the retcon hadn’t happened yet in real life, but this

seems like a plot hole. He messes with the game over

timeline by stuffing the homestuck act 6 cartridge

full of stardust thus causing things to go wrong. He

even gives the pre retcon alpha kids the lolllipops,

and I guess he also gives the post retcon kids theirs

too offscreen? He mentions Erisolsprite also so he’s

definitely talking to the pre retcon kids.

Then later, he watches the kids in the epilogues

battle him in the Masterpiece. Can he just see any

timeline on the monitors of his planet? Can he see

doomed timelines also? That’s the only way this can

all make sense. I mean it is supposed to be the

headquarters of MSPA, right?

The worst implication by far of the retcon though is

that since the events that led to Lil Cal would’ve

repeated again in the new timeline, there should be a

post retcon Lil Cal, Doc Scratch, and Lord English.

(This is a work in progress! Hopefully with time I'll add more details/events to summarize each month.) January 2026 The toons wake up at Blossom's Blessings company headquarters, a strange company that seems to have bought the rights to the toons. Vee, Dandy, and Yatta are modified. Shrimpo is presumed dead but saved by a person from outside named Azubah. Scraps discovers restraints on Goob. Bobette and Gourdy are caught and taken to Blossom's. Tisha is quarantined. Dandy is given an implant to regulate his breathing that also stops him from twisting. Astro is taken in by the company after losing his face. Scraps gets Goob's restraints off. Scraps, Goob, and Yatta plan an escape.

February 2026 Yatta, Goob, and Scraps carry out their escape, but they're caught by a security guard. Scraps and Goob believe themselves to be dead and make peace, but they then realize they're only unconscious. They had been tranquilized and declawed while Yatta watched. Tisha and Blot begin making a new plan to smuggle Vee's microchip out of the building. A talent show is planned and rescheduled several times. Goob loses his hands and Scraps needs help walking, but they begin to adapt and recover. Twisted Eclipse is caught and brought into the lab. Squirm is found in a tree and nearly caught too. March 2026

A pawn shop owner named Eliza kills Squirm's attempted captor and takes him in. The toons are interrogated and preparations for the talent show begin. Shrimpo begins having strange thoughts about identity. Vee and Dandy argue and Astro has a fainting spell. Dandy apologizes for pushing her away and Vee visits Astro with him before the show starts. Twisted Brightney is taken to the lab with Eclipse. When the show begins, Looey, Blot, and Tisha coordinate to get Blot into the sewers with Vee's microchip. They're found and taken in by the pawn shop. Looey is badly hurt, causing Yatta to have a mental breakdown. Brightney and Eclipse are cured of their twisting but at the cost of being forced into a robot body. Vee wakes up inside a laptop and tries to connect with the others through signals. April 2026

The CEO Athalia and her daughter Blossom are introduced. Brightney has regained her memories and Shrimpo continues to have strange thoughts. Yatta talks to Looey in a dream and makes him promise to stop getting himself hurt. The company retires Astro and Looey due to their conditions, but they're adopted by the pawn shop. Blossom learns about the toons and makes friends with Gourdy. Shrimpo runs away from home and Athalia's ex-husband is discreetly introduced. The shop owner's brother decides to get a job with the company to investigate their research. He meets the robot made of spare parts, starts a fire, and takes some important tissue samples. Shrimpo is discovered by Finn and they visit his campsite. Goob and Scraps think about the outside and Blossom plays with Gourdy. At the pawn shop, they fix Looey's leg and Astro's face with some encouragement from Vee.

May 2026

Athalia contemplates the identity of the strange robot, now titled R.A.M. Shrimpo finds something in the campsite that brings back a painful memory. Astro and Looey gradually recover their strength. Scraps has a strange dream and starts thinking of another escape plan. Brightney overhears the staff covering up a secret and goes to warn the others. She nearly forgets, then remembers and tells Tisha. Azubah brings Shrimpo home and something about her is different, but they promise to keep her safe. Yatta and Goob are oddly distant and no one has heard from Dandy and Bobette in a while; Astro takes Vee to see the dream world and they find the four of them having unusual dreams.

June 2026

Scraps reminisces and worries for her friend and brother. A research center works with Blossom's after an infection breaks out. Yatta and Goob go there to be monitored, Dandy goes for an unrelated implant issue, and Bobette goes as a volunteer test subject. Tisha stows away in Bobette's luggage and slips out when they arrive. Because the infection is serious, the building closes for maintenance. Brightney tells Scraps it’s possible to escape now because there are less guards, but Scraps doesn’t want to be gone when Yatta and Goob come back. The End (?) Scraps escapes. After the scientists discover a treatment for the infection, Dandy twists at the research center and breaks everyone out. Unfortunately, ripping out his implant caused his head to bleed excessively. He passed away despite Eliza and Gertrude's best efforts, but not before Astro and Vee found him and spent their last moments together. They held hands and listened to his favorite song. Bobette finds Tisha and they both decide to join the Finders. Gourdy is adopted by the hooded individual. Shrimpo, too, lives a happy life as Azubah's adopted daughter and visits the Finders whenever she can. And Scraps, Goob, and Yatta reunite and make a new life for themselves.
