2 Weeks Before Deployment

MARNEY - Main & Heaven

Marney has spent her free time getting the party together and hanging out with Elias and James for the most part. She’s not exactly sure where Henry fucked off to, but she’s not too worried about it. 

She runs in the mornings and takes on calls before it’s time to go to bed.

Her house is big, and she spends a lot of time outside lying in her hammock. She asks Nico to check in on the house once a week while she’s gone.

Her house has always had an ‘open door’ policy for the hounds.

JAMES - Main & Heaven

James gets his girls in their new house for the last two weeks before deployment. He didn’t think they’d come up, but Charlotte insisted to Monica they needed to, because they wouldn’t see him anyway then for 8-12 months. 

He takes them wherever they want to go and invites Himiko on the outings.

Gemma is very sensitive, and he ends up staying up late with her, making forts in the living room and watching the trashy teen TV shows she’s into. She’s now in a Twilight kick, and he really would rather be dodging bullets than re-watch that series again.

Charlotte is going to start school up at the University of Pittsburgh, so he has her staying at the house after he’s deployed.

HENRY Main

Henry is spending a lot of his time with Beck, Sterling, and Willow. It’s a very weird and awkward phase, and no one knows how to navigate anything.

He continues to invite Sterling over every chance he gets when neither of them is working, and they’ve gotten into just as many fights as invitations.

Henry’s at the range a lot in his spare time and runs eight miles every morning.

He quit drinking completely, especially with this medication, and is now officially a week sober and two weeks from deployment.

Heaven

He’s going over to Beck’s apartment a lot, trying to keep her settled. She gets bad on deployments, and they feed off of each other’s anxiety.

Most of his time is at home when he’s not at the gym or running or on the range with Willow and Sterling when they aren't all working.

In addition to the necklace he has from Willow, he adds another stone on there for Sterling.

Is pre-deployment over already?

I'll be one happy camper if the deployment moves along as fast as these past 2 weeks have. Not likely, but a girl can dream.
