A group of archaeologists has found an at least 15,800-year-old orange agate tool at a rockshelter site near Riley, Oregon.
Probably old news by now (ha), but this is the exact site where I did my field school three years ago, and the supervisor currently has the point I found outside my house a month or two back. Exciting!
