Dance Your Heart Out

Happy International Dance Day! Inspired by Grey’s Anatomy (yes - some us still watch it) we have one challenge for you today:
Set the timer for 5 minutes - and dance your heart out (music or no music)!! Then notice how you feel.
Unsure about dancing during your pregnancy? Here are couple of tips:
Dancing is safe during pregnancy! It keeps you flexible and strong - and it’s good for cardio too!
Focus on low impact movements - no jumping or hopping! We want to protect your pelvic floor and joints!
If you have any injuries or conditions (like symphysis pubis dysfunction - where there is excessive movement in the pubic bone) - be mindful, move slowly, and emphasize upper body movement! It’s a great idea to check in with your healthcare provider and/or physiotherapist before engaging in any physical exercise!
You can do it as many time a day as you’d like - you even do it during labor!
