1962 Premier 120R

Sales hype aside, this is simply an amazing amp. Later version of the 120, still with tremolo, reverb added, very interactive. Premier hit a home run with this amp, the amount of quality and truly unique sounds it can produce is astounding. Notice the small lower door on the back? The reverb pan is on the backside and can be separated from the amp to prevent interaction from the speaker - only on a Premier!

1946 Premier 110

2nd year for the long lived 110 series and a great year too. Beautiful wood construction, a nice 10″ speaker and 14 Loctal tube watts. A voice of its own and it is very pick attack sensitive. You can play softly and loudly without having to adjust your volume, a really nice feature. 

Some great amps were made in the late 1940s and Premier helped lead the pack - even if you haven’t heard of them. The 14 watts gives it plenty of pop if you want it.  Tubes: 5Z4, 2 7C5 for power, 7F7, 7F8.

1964 Fender Reverb Unit - Blackface

Fender’s deservedly famous spring reverb unit. This is a clean, serviced unit ready to go. Or you could try my Premier Reverberation 90 unit. Both are demoed on the same Premier Model 50 for comparison.

1954 Premier 120

A very clean Premier 120. Functionally the same as a Premier 110, but has a 12″ speaker instead of the 10″ found in the 110s. Same great 2 6V6 sound, just beefier. Circuits on Premiers tended to mimic 1950s Fender Tweeds, very successfully too. Tremolo, Mic channel has a lot more drive than the Instrument channel. Glorious Catalin knobs.

1954 Premier 88

A nice example of a legendary amp, both for guitarists and harp players. Suitcase style with a detachable speaker. Incredibly unique tone controls that work like organ stops, not like normal up/ down bass/treble controls. Each paddle cuts in/out a frequency range. Play only with the very lowest and highest ranges, ice pick highs only - many possibilities not possible on any other amp but the Premier 88 Line. Combine that with a nice tremolo and 35 watts of 6L6 terrific sound pumped through an unusual set of speakers: A Jensen 15″ woofer and two Jensen 3″ tweeters.  Dean said “I loved my Les Paul through the Premier 88 -- has that woody tone in spades!” Hard to beat that review.

1952 Premier Model 110

Classic early 50's Fender Tweed cleans. Bridge the instrument and microphone channels, turn both volumes up for a stronger overdrive.  2 6V6, tremolo and a 10″.
