We realized pretty quickly that there’s no definitive guide to writing fanfiction, or even a book that addresses all the common issues fanfiction writers face. It’s a major reason why Lemon Magazine (now known as The Citrus Scale) was formed in the first place.
So, to that end, we decided to compile all our research for the past year into one guide book. It’ll outline things like the best ways to self-edit, how to find and keep a beta reader, the best practices for running a challenge or opening up requests, copyright issues as they apply to fanfiction writers, and so much more! Seriously, like a ton more! If you want, we can list it in the comments or something, but the table of contents alone is outrageous (in the best way!).
We were just approved for pre-order on Amazon and Nook, so we thought we’d through the link in here in case anyone wanted to get in on that. It won’t be available until December 3rd, 2019 because it has to go through all the normal rounds of editing and such. And it will be available on Kobo as well, so keep an eye out for that.
