This week, we ate our last egg from our girls. We miss them so much. We’ve come to the conclusion with summer ending so fast and football season coming, to wait until spring for new chicks so we can watch them more without the need for babysitting on weekends.

It’s a hard decision. We want to return to normalcy so much and hear happy chickens in the coop and yard.

Made fried rice for dinner.  Cut the omlette with a tiny star cookie cutter.  Stars in my dinner.  Because I'm an adult and no one can tell me not to.  *satisfied*
