This week, we ate our last egg from our girls. We miss them so much. We’ve come to the conclusion with summer ending so fast and football season coming, to wait until spring for new chicks so we can watch them more without the need for babysitting on weekends.

It’s a hard decision. We want to return to normalcy so much and hear happy chickens in the coop and yard.

Getting my baby chick order ready 🐣❤️🐔 I am so excited!! There are so many pretty kinds of chickens, I want a couple of each of the ones pictured 🙂

Cannot believe how absolutely HUGE this guy is. All the chicks voices have broken too, I no longer get ‘peep peep!’-ed at. Now I have a chorus of gentle honks and growls.

Apparently the young hens are old enough to start laying now?!?!?! This is the second fairy egg I’ve gotten. I can’t believe my children are all grown up
