I finally managed to finish reading a book after like, 2 weeks of DNF-ing so. many. books. . The blurb on the back of this copy says that Assassin’s Heart contains shades of THE GODFATHER + ROMEO AND JULIET. Basically I’m very glad to have borrowed this book, since I ended up really enjoying it. The atmosphere in this book is great, and there were some parts of the book that were predictable to me, but I didn’t mind because this story was SO GOOD. I feel like I’m out of my massive DNF slump now🤩. . What was the last book that you marked as Did Not Finish? .
