          “i better get under something quick..” he voiced to himself as the thunder rolled overhead, lightening flashed every now and again as well. there wasn’t any rain yet, so the gargoyle still had time to find some sort of shelter, being so far from the tower was a pain some days. 

     lexington found himself under a hotel awning for the time being, hoping that nobody would really pay attention to him--last thing he needed was some bellhop to come around and shoo him away and start a commotion.

     Her comment had caught the fox off guard, at least— The seriousness of it did, it was a more intense subject matter than he’d expected. Thankfully, he was equipped enough to be able to answer the comment effectively. Truth be told, it was a comment he would’ve really agreed with had it been presented to a NIck from a few months back.. Back in his hustler days, it’s what kept him by himself, that exact mindset.
