Further clarification on Larries, I know RPF is a contentious topic, but unlike with most RPF where people are just doing it for fun, the Larry Stylinson movement wasn't limited to people making fanfics and edits, people GENUINELY BELIEVED Louis and Harry were in a relationship they were forced to keep secret.

another transman here who wants to share their experience! I was diagnosed with autism & ADHD 6 months ago, and started hrt nearly a month ago, I have to say that T has been having some impact on both.

as for my autism, I feel more prone to autistic meltdowns. nothing that makes my life more difficult, but I feel like I become overstimulated more frequently.

but my ADHD (im currently not taking any meds) has been kicking my ass. like, I have to stick even more to my routines, and trick my brain more into doing something. some days it's easy peasy, but others I have to be a little more patient with myself

oh wait, u misunderstood me. by “wrong” i didnt mean from writing pov, i meant MORALLY. 😅 that bc im straight im not supposed to do that. its just ive seen some shippers assume things when a bi/straight writer does mlm smut, accuse them of “getting off”, call them perverts even though the smut was plot/relationship driven n its clear the writer truly loves the ship. idk what i should say to defend myself then u know? like if u wrote for wlw n got attacked? i hope i worded it better this time XD

No, yeah, I knew what you meant. That’s what I was saying. Don’t fetishize the relationship while writing - aka, be respectful about it and don’t treat it as a spectacle (see previous ask) - and you’re not doing anything wrong.

There are always gonna be fandom wars and there are always gonna be people with Very Strong Opinons who wanna start shit. But, in general, I’ve found that as long as you stay in your lane, don’t start shit, and don’t do BLATANTLY wrong shit (like, don’t romanticize abusive relationships, don’t whitewash POC characters or straightwash LGBT characters, don’t sexualize children - yanno, the obvious “don’t be an asshole” stuff), you’re fine.

If people start raising a fuss because you dared to write smut, and as long as you weren’t an ass about it (again: see previous ask), honestly just block them. If they have a problem with your content then they don’t have to read it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It’s honestly not worth fighting with people who just want something to fight about. If you were respectful about it and they still wanna throw a tantrum, block, delete, and move on with your life.

For example: I’ve had plenty of people come and scream at me because I wrote smut with characters who, at the time of the story, were in late high school. The naysayers’ problem is that these characters were once children. So, clearly, I’m a bad terrible awful nasty person for writing a scene that takes place years later when they’re not anywhere near children anymore. ... logic. (Does anyone wanna break the news to these people that EVERYONE was a kid once upon a time? And that, in fact, the passage of time tends to make people grow and age? Because I’m not sure they quite grasp that concept.)

Anywho, you know how I handle those irate people? I delete their comment and block them. If they don’t wanna see my content, they don’t have to. And I don’t have to listen to people yell about what a bad human I apparently am. Win-win.

I really hope people/the mods will be aware of what bones has done and is capable of doing if they're trying to rebuild again. I don't want these people to be badly influenced and get hurt.
