Going through mythical animals for fun and found the Peryton.

A stag/bird hybrid that is said to have lived in Atlantis until it was destroyed.

They cast the shadow of a man until it kills one and then it will cast it's own. They were prophesied to lead the downfall of Rome.

All this is just to ask, WHY, no one in the Hannibal fandom has talked about this?! (If you have, sorry I didn't find it.)

Some of my older kelpies and sleipnir exploded due to uncured resin. this time I printed them without hollowing them out. Lesson learned; don't be cheap. Anyways, that means I need to repaint them, and whilst I'm doing that, I figured I'ld enroll some other minis in the process. Oh, and I'm having a warhammer fantasy battle planned next year during spring! I'll be playing a trollhorde. So I need to paint some giants too and I'm thinking of fielding a coven (meaning three (3!) Troll Hags). We'll see how that goes.

would you be willing to accept someone applying as a preyton?

I can think of a couple of ways that creature could be worked into the RP. From a demon subtype to maybe a curse? Maybe even a were-peryton.

For a demon, I can see it as being a soul that was forced into a bird/stag hybrid body forged by Hell/Lucifer.

If we go with curse, we could say, depending on their loyalties, that either Lucifer or the Angels has given those creatures that agreed to assist them an amulet. Said amulet would let them appear human again but only while they have it on.

It all depends on how you want to play it. We could bounce ideas back and for off anon, if you’d like. Find something that works out.
