INAUGURAL POST OF BLOG MARK 2, HERE WE GO.

Henceforth joining me on creative endeavors, plots, and new characters is my good pal Lambda (who runs http://yeswriteanswers.tumblr.com/ and is an all around delightful person). It was they who did the colors on these panels (with minor touch ups by me) so lets give them a warm welcome!

New Quest:  Profound Change

After a great deal of meditation, consideration, consultation, deliberation, and other longish words that mean thinking really hard, I’ve made my decision.  More after the break.

This blog is getting rebooted, almost from the ground up.

The story progression, such as it is, will reset.  You’re still going to be dealing with Primal Voice, but the actual sequence of events will differ.  We’ll still be accepting asks, naturally, and the planned update schedule is roughly once every two weeks (adult-ing is hard, guys).

I’m gonna move over to an anthro visual style.  As noted before, much as I love ponies constantly drawing ONLY ponies is a tad boring and you can do so much with visual design between clothing, tools, and other fun things about a character.

The biggest change is this:  No longer does the mod ride alone.  We’ll be introducing a good friend of mine (or their avatar at least) and they will be helping me to develop a proper story and narrative for the blog so that I don’t paint myself into a corner again.

....I want to thank all of you, again.  Profoundly, from the bottom of my heart, your support means the world to me, and I’m sorry for letting you down for so long.  I can’t continue the blog as it is; it’s just not fun.  When something becomes an obligation rather than a lark, it loses its luster rather quickly., but that’s still no excuse for leaving you all hanging for so long after such a span of time.  I hope you enjoy what comes.  If you don’t, thanks for coming along for as long as you have!

Short update; sorry, fellas.  Wrists hurting too much to continue (from now on I think I’ll just space out work on them over a few days instead of doing em all at once).

It’s been a very busy past few weeks; fixing to move into a new place, so chances are I’ll be out of commission for a little while as I get set up.  You know how it goes!  Speaking of commissions, mine are definitely still open if you ever felt a burning need to have me draw things for you.

MEME SECURED, with options 9, 2, 16, 10, and 1 covered.  Now, with 1, since Primal’s a small boy it’d look almost exactly the same.  So I took it as a chance to draw Princess Primula again.  And I went nuts holy shit I love drawing her

“Don’t know about a Nightmare Moon, but this nightmare troubled me for months.  She placed me among the stars and picked at my mind almost like a thief trying to crack a lock.  At first she was confused, but became angry as the dreams went on.  They stopped eventually, but I never really understood what they meant. Odd thing is, I dreamed of her again the other night, just after crossing the mountains.  Strange coincidence.”
