IMPORTANT NEWS

So the 8th of March marks 42 years since the first episode of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy was broadcast on Radio 4 and to commemorate the event Radio 4 Extra is broadcasting FIVE GLORIOUS HOURS of content starting from 8pm- as well as the entire first series, there’s various short features including the QI elves “[investigating] some of Douglas Adams’ predictions and inventions”, an interview with Geoff McGivern and stand-up mathematician Matt Parker (he puts the fun in fundamental calculus) exploring the significance of 42. 

The Hexagonal Phase is also in the process of being broadcast at 6.30pm on Tuesdays on Radio 4.
