People talking about Max/Vaultknight implying Max is a one-dimensional goody two shoes or that their relationship is the classical fairytale, just because he's undoubtedly well intentioned, irks me deeply.
It strips Max of the immense complexity of his character, his goodness coexisting with his upbringing into a technocracy, an upbringing he definitely did not choose but that shapes his worldview and actions in immeasurable ways.
In his worldview he undoubtedly believes, with no uncertainty, that he owes some sort of loyalty towards the Brotherhood because they saved him, raised him, and with the end of season 1 the stakes will become even higher.
He wishes to be with Lucy, escape from the Brotherhood. He wishes to feel. But his wish, from the first time we see him, is also to save the world and be someone, because that's what he's been told is his purpose throughout his life, and all the instruments he's been given to achieve this were given by the Brotherhood.
All of this, and yet his most earnest wishes are for things the Brotherhood won't give.
How will this unravel is incredibly compelling, and makes for one of the most interesting dynamics yet.

Saw someone on tiktok saying Steph has the black widow perk and honestly? With the way she has Chet acting like an abused battered house husband scared out of his gourd, I agree 😭😭
Hey, please remember that fallout probably couldn’t have started filming season 3 yet due to actor scheduling. That is a thing.
For films and Television Shows scheduling is a VERY big thing.
I’ve seen some people blaming the actors and Amazon themselves.
It’s not amazons fault and it’s CERTAINLY not the actors faults.
It pisses me off so much that they advertised it so it looked like Cooper was going to be a major character in The Burning Springs update and then they just religate him to a shitty radiant quest giver
Like I get that they put Cooper in the poster so more people would buy the update but for fuck's sake, if you're going to put him in the poster, make him be a bigger part of the story instead of a stupid quest giver, that's boring and dumb because you know for a fact that most people would buy it just for Cooper and then surprise, he's not even a major character in the story, he just gives you stupid co-op bounty missions
Like pulling this shit, the Fallout 4 anniversary update and the Fallout bundle for BO7 really shows how little Bethesda gives a shit about Fallout
Little new years gift for y'all!
always a good day in the office when i have to look at pics of a mustache guy for reference 👍
