I treasure the book as well, but the movie holds a kind of magic—gentle, timeless, and unshakable—that always finds its way to my heart.

Last Unicorn fanart. I was inspired by Greet Desal's sculpture Sleepers Peace. Rather than depicting a real, physical reunion between Lir and Amalthea, I wanted this to be a visual representation of how it feels to linger in your love for somebody after you've parted ways

The funniest part of The Last Unicorn is when Schmendrick points out that Amalthea won’t love him when she’s a unicorn and Lír just doubles down with “Love is Love” lmao
