2. Who’s the bottom?

What an arbitrary and silly question that reveals nothing about… Sasuke. It’s Sasuke, always. No, but really. Let me digress for a second about how much I love the haughty/contemptuous asshole of the relationship (side-eyes Rin and Draco) being really unwilling to admit that that’s what they want. Honestly, I ship SNS in any form, sexual and non-sexual, so this is totally a really minor thing that doesn’t twist my knickers like it does other people’s.

7. Favorite SNS blogs?

omfg so many?? The ones that came to mind immediately was the incredible art blog @asksasunaru because their characterisation is SOOOoooOoOOOOOoOOO good and I laugh so hard. Same with @jam-art, who does so much more than SNS but is always amazing. If I was getting into detailed blog crushes I would literally be here all day. :*

8. What would be the perfect ending for you?

Hahahaha one that happened 5+ years ago where Danzo was the ultimate bad guy, pulling all sorts of terrible strings?? No, but really. I want an ending to a story that wasn’t about ‘SAVING THE WORLD’. I want Naruto to tackle the inherently fucked system in the ninja villages, while fighting against the apparent product of said fuckery that Akatsuki represented. (Which would make Sasuke’s speech “we were lonely kids starving for love so much more relevant?) I want Haku and Gaara and Sai and Itachi’s stories validated. I want Sasuke’s vitriolic development justified, you know?

So when Sasuke sets out to destroy Konoha, he’s met with Naruto who doesn’t get gets why Sauce wants to do the thing until Sasuke tells him everything and shit, so does Naruto, but in a different way. A way that nobody has to die. So Danzo/Akatsuki/Madara/whoever attack Konoha, there’s an epic Team 7 reunion (Sakura is, you know, GOOD) and they have to fight the system/the bad guys. The very last scene is Team 7 standing, surveying the wreckage of Konoha and its bitter-sweet because people have died etc. but they’re hopeful that things are going to get better. My babies are smiling and IDK there’s a sunset.

9. Who says I love you first?

Sasuke’s been thinking it for years. But maybe Naruto says it first in that open, unabashed way that always made Sasuke’s heart stammer.

15. AU fics or Canon verse Fics? Why?

Haha, as you can see from above, I like canon-universe story-divergent fics. One’s that try and make sense of Sasuke and Naruto’s nuances. While I adore SasuNaru AU fics, too, I just find there’s always a touch of melodrama necessary to justify why Sasuke acts the way he does. So I’m usually more into fluffy light-hearted AUs than serious ones.

24. Favorite SNS headcanon?

I have two I hold very dear. The first is any scenario that concerns Sasuke and Naruto living together after the war. And it’s hard because now that Sasuke’s back, all Naruto’s problems should be gone. But they aren’t; despite sharing Naruto’s tiny flat (nobody suggested that Sasuke go back to the compound), they could go a whole day without speaking because they’re shoulder deep in their own grief. But Naruto’s there when Sasuke wakes in cold sweats and the first time Naruto has a panic-attack Sasuke gets so gentle and calm and talks him through it because he used to have them when he was little too. And they’re best friends, and so domestic and they wake up one morning and realise that they have literally been in love for years. And it hurts my heart to think about, honestly.

And secondly, SASUKE IS A HUGE DORK, OKAY? And it takes an enormous amount of effort to keep up the facade. And so when SasuNaruSaku’s friendship is finally given a chance to come to fruition, Sakura is appalled that she ever had a crush on dark!Sasuke who is in reality the dorkiest, snorts-into-ramen-and-ends-up-choking-when-Naruto-makes-a-dumb-joke teenager that Sakura has ever met.

36. Do they go on missions together? What mission Headcanons do you have?

Okay, so imagine this. Naruto and Sasuke are actually famous in the ninja world for their teamwork. They don’t even need to think in order to fight together seamlessly, it just sort of happens. And, despite this, they have one of the worst success rates in Konoha in terms of missions. And it drives Tsunade NUTS because, when it comes down to the wire, their S-Rank missions are utterly flawless. But put them on a B-rank mission, such as chaperoning diplomats from one place to another, and all hell seems to break loose because “someone just HAD to insist we stay in the inn full of mercenaries” or “this bastard, here, successfully offended the entire royal family at once.”

41. Who’s possessive?

That is definitely Naruto. Call it an Orochimaru-induced hangover or the fact that Sasuke has no idea when people are flirting with him (”How did you not get that, teme????”) but Naruto finds himself thinking about marking Sasuke up on a regular basis.

43. When do you think Sasuke realized he loved Naruto?

Well, it needs to be established that I think Sasuke has pretty much always been in love with Naruto. Like, before VoTE, he knew Naruto was unique, and as early as the fight with Haku we have Sasuke’s subconscious finding himself in Naruto. But when did the penny drop? Maybe when Sasuke was lying there in the darkness waiting for Naruto to find him in Orochimaru’s base. Or when Naruto told Sasuke that they could be together in the afterlife. But part of me thinks it could have been as late as chapter 698 when, at the end of all things, it was just two boys and their souls. And Sasuke just gives in to the feelings and lets himself bask in the knowledge that Naruto loves him back.
