Who drinks all of the coffee: Max doesn’t drink coffee (too bitter), and Chloe only drinks energy drinks for that extra kick before she pulls her dumbass stunts.
Who brings up adopting a pet: Max kinda-sorta worms the prospect of getting a cat with Chloe into a conversation after the two of them successfully revived Lisa after Max thought all hope was lost. Of course, Chloe’s response was “Oh… my god, you are fucking adorable, of course you want a cat. You know what? fuck it, we’re getting a cat lets go pick up a stray right now!” Max ends up reasoning with Chloe to not go cat hunting (Chloe had an entire plan to scour the trash bins at night and bag one in its sleep) and they ended up rescuing one from the pound: an adorable tuxedo cat named Marie :)
Who kills the bugs: For the most part, the moment a spider or an earwig or something is spotted, Max dives for the covers until the threat is subdued by Chloe with a swatter. They usually just let moths do their thing, unless they have the chance to catch it and let it free. But if there’s a crane fly ITS ALL OVER FOR CHLOE she is fucking freaked out by them and Max has to deal with the task of killing it, which she is surprisingly good at
Who cooks the meals: Max, when she has the time. Most of what they have, however, is instant stuff and freezer food. The only time Chloe actually cooks is when Max is mad at her for something, and Chloe wants to make it up to her. Funny thing is, while her mom’s cooking is phenomenal, Chloe straight up has no fucking clue what to do in a kitchen other than make like pancakes and spaghetti like what the fuck is seasoning just put food together and eat it cooking takes too long
Who starts getting into holidays way before they should: Chloe fluctuates between being insanely into christmas just to annoy max and just plain hating the whole damn thing because of how much everyone expects of her during the holidays. Max isn’t really into christmas, she just isn’t that festive, but she loves it when the holiday lights are put out and she can take artsy pictures of all the christmas lights and take walks in parks surrounded by a dim glow from strings of lights in the bare trees and lace gloved fingers with Chloe and just enjoy them
