Apologies if it's been asked before but what's your thoughts on Marshfield?
I just find the two of them too adorable together. I know the game doesn't give you the romance option but like if you play the game supporting Kate and being there for her, it really reveals a deep friendship (if not more) for someone Max has only known for like a month or two.
My take on it is that something could've possibly developed if Max never reconnected with Chloe.
Or who knows maybe in an alt timeline there's PriceMarshField thing happening
Marshfield is adorable and I would love for them to be a thing.
Kate is clearly very important to Max even before the roof incident. She's someone the antisocial Max makes an effect get tea with weekly, even before the game begins.
She's also a parallel to Chloe, a canon love interest, in many ways. They both have multiple major choices that effects Max's relationship with them and she is also able to awaken a new time power to save their lives.
It's also noteworthy that Max speaks to Kate in a more tender voice then she does with most people. It's a tone that isn't even used with Chloe or Warren.
So I ship them a lot! I actually strongly headcanon Max and Kate end up together in the sacrifice Chloe ending a few years after everything happened.
