When learning a new language, there is a lot you need to keep in mind. I’m of the opinion that learning is easier when you have less on your mind – that’s why I’m a big fan of cheat sheets and references! Any time you’re unsure, just have a look at the sheet. Check a few times during study and you’ll have everything memorized in no time.
For this purpose, I have added two new items to my ko-fi. One about vowel and consonant harmony and one about cases.

In Turkish, to make nouns plural, you add the suffix -lar or -ler to the noun. The choice between these suffixes depends on minor vowel harmony rules.
-ler is used if the last vowel in the noun is a front vowel (e, i, ö, ü).
-lar is used if the last vowel in the noun is a back vowel (a, ı, o, u).
Example:
Kitap (book) → Kitaplar (books) (last vowel is 'a', so use -lar)
Kalem (pen) → Kalemler (pens) (last vowel is 'e', so use -ler)
2. Minor Vowel Harmony
Minor vowel harmony in Turkish affects suffixes, making them adapt to the vowels in the root word. When a suffix is added to a word, it must harmoniously match the last vowel of the word.
Unlike major vowel harmony, there are only two possible vowels when using minor vowel harmony.
Front Vowels: e, i, ö, ü -> use e
Back Vowels: a, ı, o, u -> use a
