I have an Epson 2722 with bluetooth and manual duplex printing. All of a sudden, the option to print on both sides is gone and under properties it says my printer can't do it (it can; I've done it numerous times). I've tried the tips from online that I can find, such as uninstalling and reinstalling it, uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling. The driver it's using is the Microsoft IPP which I think is the problem, but when I installed the Epson updater, it couldn't update anything (because, I think, the printer is controlled by another computer in the house).

Help.

My daughter can't print on both sides and I can't print on both sides. It's not a world ending problem but it's a pain in the ass.

Looking for color printer recs!  Non-HP printers, though.  

So I have TWO color printers, both fairly new, and neither one of them work.  Black ink will not print.  I’ve tried everything under the sun to get them to print - using real vs. off market ink, same result for both - cleaned the gunk out of both, aligned and cleaned printheads,cleaned the contacts, reset both printers, etc etc.  Honestly, I’ve done everything *I* can think of, as an IT professional, and nada.  I’ve come to the conclusion that HP’s home/consumer printers are just crap.  We have industrial HP printers at work that are awesome, but I”m not about to drop a grand on a printer, either.

Honestly, I would put this purchase off for a bit, but apparently kiddo needs to have a printer at home in order to print out his homework.  Which also begs the question, what tf does the school expect people to do who don’t have/can’t afford a printer?  I’m a bit annoyed about that tbh, but apparently this school district thinks everyone is fucking loaded.  Meh.
